Hi, bit of a strange one. Had my R56 Laser Blue 2011 Cooper SD for 2.5 years and 44k miles. It’s now sitting on 92k Miles.

It’s recently developed a noticeable vibration which you can actually feel inside the cabin, and it seems to be after it’s properly up to temperature. Difficult to pin where it’s coming from. Even with both feet off the pedals and on the floor, you can still feel it. Really noticeable when stationary, say when waiting at traffic lights. Running absolutely fine, no apparent clutch issues, gear selection all fine. No strange noises either.

Any thoughts on what it could be?

We had an Audi where the dual mass flywheel degraded and caused a vibration, unfortunately for us it got worse quite quickly to the point it wasn’t good for the engine. Sorry for a horror story but depending on history etc it is a possibility. It could be a partially blocked injector or fuel filter, it could be a multitude of things. Is it showing any fault codes ?

Thanks for all the replies. I’ll have a nosey at the engine mounts first (and hope for the best) :)
