    Today I bought this XJ8. It's in Chesterfield, so I'm paying someone to deliver it. Never owned a V8 before so figured it was about time, plus it fits my miserable old git persona down to a tee As the 530d gets older, obviously the chance of things wearing out increases. As we all know, the way to make your car more reliable is to have more cars.

    Buying an 18 year old Jag unseen, what could possibly go wrong

    I like your thinking, but as this cost me the grand total of £1400 I don't want to adding too much to the value
