For me personally I think the organisers should have gone to the more local meets and invited cars attending these meets to display their car inside. They then could have had a section like a local spotlight showing that these cars had been hand picked. Now this would require a lot of legwork. But it would at least give the show a USP

I think you’re spot on with that Mark.

Organisers were boys that run N/A nonsense car club, think they done Scottish Performance Show in Bo’ness as well.

But agree a few cars from the North East would have been good, or at the very least how cleanscene is organised, people submit cars and they get approved.

Feet were made to fit car pedals. If we were meant to walk, we'd have pogo sticks for legs

Most large car shows are organised just to make money. Deep down they have no interest in smaller car clubs, clubs they donít know or the people that are part of them. The only shows that Iíve ever been to that seem to have any interest in the cars, and especially the clubs taking part, were BMS and MMM.
Itís like the runs and shows that MINI Bitz organise. The amount of cars that turn up is way more important than the quality of the cars and the people/clubs that attend.
I personally much prefer a small, well organised event that is planned with the attending clubs and people at the forefront and has plenty of event staff that you can talk to rather than the larger events where people are just left to their own devices.

I'll let you know how the Minibitz meet is at the weekend on Monday Pete Most likely be the last time I venture down south this year!
