Well due to a change I wont be able to attend any runs for the next 12 months or so.

Most of you will know that I don't shy away from driving 150-200 miles for NMS runs or shows that we attend.

But after a good few months of job hunting and not getting much success I've managed to secure a place at Oxford Brooke's university studying Automotive engineering. It will mean a big move (over 500 miles) but it's a necessary step I believe to take my career in the direction of my ultimate goal.

On a mini related note the university has strong ties with mini plant oxford so I'm hoping this will stand me in good stead when graduation time comes around.

So it's been fun NMS and I will be back on runs and at meets and I'll definitely still be atting my tuppence worth on the forum.

    I'm still definitely attending MMM.

That’s fantastic Mark. It’s a shame we won’t see you as much at runs etc and you will definitely be missed but totally understand why. Hopefully this brings some exciting things for you.

Thanks William. Yeah for me it's a necessary step will suck being away from friends and family and NMS but in 12 months time I should be a far better position for getting to where I want to be.

Mark good luck with the studying and future ... it’s a necessary evil and unfortunately we’ve to do things we don’t really want but need to do. You’ll be missed I’m sure of that but I’ve no doubt you’ll keep in touch ...

You only need two tools in life WD40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should use WD40 and if it moves and shouldn't use Duct Tape.

Thats a shame Mark, but congrats on the place, hopefully we might still see you at some shows if we're down in your new stomping ground. And of course next time we're in Oxford, we expect you'll know all the best spots for an afternoon beverage or two
