MINI is 60 today, a huge achievement for any manufacturer. Where would we all be without MINI, it has given us all so many happy memories and also friendships over the years.

I'm only on MINI number 3 but I can definitely see me having more in the future. I'd like to try and experience every variety of MINI.

Since getting my first MINI 4 members of the family have bought MINIs and 3 still have them. We were never really a mini family before I became interested. Granny had a mini in the 70s but that was just a run about for getting to work.

It is good to see how the MINI brand started a new segment with the luxury hatch and how even now 18 years on it's still fit to fight off the newcomers to the segment. And now with the JCW cars being given the power to properly stick it to the big boys in the straights as well as the corners. The Gen 4 MINIs are going to have big boots to fill

    Happy Birthday Mini!

Up until a year I had never considered a Mini, that test drive to cure curiosity was the best choice I had made. I can see myself in a another Mini, maybe not a hatch but clubman or countryman in the next couple of years. It's a car that puts a Smile on my face every day, even when you have a rubbish day it puts a smile on my face.

And the club is like a wee family too, had some fantastic drives, trips and Meets and it's good to meet like minded people who appreciate the brand.
