    Hi folks, first post.

Just scanned some of the chats but would like to know and understand the codes people are using, such as, R55 etc.

Picking up my newish Mini today. Can’t wait.

Welcome to the forum, and congratulations on your new car.

The codes are BMWs internal codes for the different models, so off the top of my head:
    1st gen:
    R50 - One/Cooper
    R53 - Cooper S
    R52 - Convertible

    2nd gen:
    R55 - Clubman
    R56 - Cooper/Cooper S
    R57 - Convertible
    R58 - Roadster
    R59 - Coupe
    R60 - Countryman
    R61 - Paceman

    3rd gen:
    F54 - Clubman
    F55 - 5dr
    F56 - 3dr
    F57 - Convertible
    F60 - Countryman

So if your Cooper SD is a 3dr it's an F56, 5dr an F55 etc.

An R58 is a Coupé and an R59 is the Roadster.

Thanks folks. Getting the gist of it lol. It’s a 66 plate hatch.

Will post picks when I’m fully up and running here.
