Love those back lights, wonder if they could be retrofitted to the F54 ?
    Anyone know?

So I just went on to the mini configurator to build the new clubman and was taken back by the ludicrous price tag!!

I specc'd one up with what I think would be a necessity and... £40k!!!

If this is going to be the norm going forward for mini then I see a lot of people jumping ship. Unfortunately in such a competitive market it just doesn't make sense to buy a new mini anymore. There are far more cars with a lot more power, creature comforts and offer a similar driving experience for a lot less.

    MINI F55 Cooper S 210
Blazing Red II, 17" Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2s with Eagle F1s 225/45r17, JCW 210 Tuning Kit, Black Door Handles, Team HEKO Wind Deflectors, Black Grille and Grille Strip, Black Front and Rear Light Surrounds, Retrofitted Driving Modes, JB4 Tune

I can't remember exactly, but it was stuff like adaptive suspension, sat nav, 19inch wheels (all stuff which is probably to be expected imo on a high performance/top line car)

You're not even protected (to a degree) by the residuals that you used to be with Mini. They're moore or less the same as other manufacturers these days, thanks to the sheer number of them.

For £40k you can get a 2 year old M4 with less than 10k miles on it. Completely different car, I agree; but an idea of what is available in that price range

Feet were made to fit car pedals. If we were meant to walk, we'd have pogo sticks for legs

I've just specd a clubby to a decent spec. Sunroof, tinted windows, metallic paint, HK stereo. Came to £38,005.

Just specd an A35 to the same spec and it came to nearly £42k so I would say the clubby is decent value and if you went standard against standard the clubby gets massively more equipment than the a35.
