Ok folks, first time posting and a newbie. 2008 cooper D R56, 80k miles. DPF warning light on. Took the car a for blast down the motorway for and hour, keeping the revs up and keeping speed up to 60-70mph. Light still on and still on after another day's driving. question 1 ....where do I go from here?, 2/ Will the DPF eventually clear and will the light go out itself or will I have to get it put out by garage? 3/ should my car have the dreaded eolys bag buried under the floor. I guess it still must be ok as no warning saying otherwise. Are DPF cleaners any good eg Redex?
Any help appreciated.
