What are people running with as an aftermarket panel filter, lots available, costs from £39-£70, benefits in terms of noise, throttle response etc ?

One of the biggest things to consider is the F series with a CAI is very high inlet temps ,if you are running a bigger intercooler it helps temps recovery but as you say there are lots out there
The cars in front are New MINI Scotland

I’ve used ITG in all my F cars. Tiny bit more turbo noise that’s about it

Thanks gents, I guess there’s no rush to swap over, especially if there’s not much difference

I managed to get a new Proram (Ramair) panel filter on eBay for £24 in the Xmas sales. Very similar in construction to the K&N filters and as mentioned you get a slightly louder intake noise Can’t fault it.

I’ve got the proram filter in my watched list (£39) just now, I used my 2 x 15% off options ! £24 was a good buy

    Looks well constructed tbh
