    Hi,

New to Mini and this forum.

My handbrake appears to be staying on intermittently on my R56 Cooper. It is only the near side that is doing it. Is this a common problem?

Could be an issue with your hillstart or handbrake might just need adjusted.

Does the 56 have a hill start function.
Sounds like the handbrake just needs adjusted as it’s mechanical. Does it just stick on first thing in the morning ?
You only need two tools in life WD40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should use WD40 and if it moves and shouldn't use Duct Tape.
