    Default Handbrake sticking on

    Hi,

New to Mini and this forum.

My handbrake appears to be staying on intermittently on my R56 Cooper. It is only the near side that is doing it. Is this a common problem?

Could be an issue with your hillstart or handbrake might just need adjusted.

Does the 56 have a hill start function.
Sounds like the handbrake just needs adjusted as itís mechanical. Does it just stick on first thing in the morning ?
You only need two tools in life WD40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should use WD40 and if it moves and shouldn't use Duct Tape.
