what offset ?

    as some will have seen im in the market for some new wheels and tires . i know i need 17" by 7" with a pcd of 4x100 for a gen 2 jcw but what offset do i need and will a higher et give more clearance on the calipers or less . sorry for a dumb question but i just cant seem to find the answers on line .

    You can run a wider wheel I run 7.5 and some people run 8 a positive offset means the hub is closer to the outside of the rim of the wheel negative means closer to the inside edge. Negative is usually found on extreme concave or dished rims

    My rotas are 17x7.5 et45 and they stick right out to the arches any further and you would need arch extensions
