On looking at both cars how can you tell the difference between a JCW model and a Cooper S with the JCW kit on it?

Brakes are usually the biggest give away factory Jcw gets 4 pot brembos compared to single piston cooper S. Exhaust also if it has the Jcw stage 1 kit the exhaust will have John Cooper works on the top of the tips and the exhaust tip is just a tip on a factory Jcw the tips are part of the exhaust.

Steering wheel and dash are also different. Jcw gets a half leather/half alcantara wheel compared to full leather standard. And the dash will have a gel sticker with a checked pattern on a factory jcw

On F56 biggest difference is brakes and the lack of fog lights. Apart from that need to get more into it to tell
