Evening. Is there a way of finding out the full spec of an 05 plate Cooper?

Or do we still have nice friendly dealer boffins on here that could look up my cars spec on the BMW supercomputer please?

Forgot to say we don’t have the original service book etc so can’t get the original build bumf that used to be on the sticker in that.

Any mini dealer should be able to do it. There is a website for looking up bmw vins and you get a build sheet if I can find it again I'll link it

TBH if you put up some photos we could probably tell the spec, there's not much that's hidden in the spec of R50s - you can tell by buttons etc

Feet were made to fit car pedals. If we were meant to walk, we'd have pogo sticks for legs

Bmwvin.com that's the website I used to check my mini. Not sure how far back it goes but it even came up with a digital picture of what my car looked like when it left the factory, interior, wheels really cool

^^ good site that, but doesn't show a pic of my R53

Does it make me sad that I knew the last 7 numbers of my VIN off the top of my head?

I was well impressed when it showed up both of my minis. spec sheet for the current mini was 3 pages long. Original owner was obviously pretty well to do

It reminded me that my spec must be unique for an R53 - debadged, and the silver dash instead of the alloy swirly one
