    Did you miss me?

On the cusp of returning to MINI ownership, sort of.....my good lady is in the throws of getting a 55 plate Cooper CVT - I had the bad luck of having to test drive it yesterday Shame!

As wee aside - what's to look out for on 2nd hand R50 (Facelift) models these days? Its only done 39k miles.

Welcome back Wul & tbh forgot all about you

I'm sure the R50 will be 'sound' with only 39k on the clock. I've still got my 04 Cooper & apart from earlier steering issues I've had no other major problems (& that's with the old Midland gearbox still pulling it along )

Thanks guys - had a wee nose in the members list earlier and saw a few familiar names :)

Saw my old detailing tips thread was still lurking there too lol - back when I had no kids and plenty time to wash cars haha!

39K....that's nearly as low as mine....lol
Just the usual things Wul.....selecting reverse is still a giant pain in the ass (takes forever when doing a 3 point turn..!!) watch out for sticky rear off side calipers (don't ask me why..!!) and electric steering pump issues.
