    What was the difference with Sports+ Suspension on the R53?

    As far as I am aware it is just stiffer. No actual difference to mounting points etc.

    Know it’s stiffer but wanting to know if it’s a different strut, spring etc

    As far as I'm aware it's a stronger spring rate as the shock absorber is the same part number as non r53. The jcw shock is a different part number.

    Yup I think it's just a higher spring rate. Ride height etc is the same


    Feet were made to fit car pedals. If we were meant to walk, we'd have pogo sticks for legs

    If there was ever a case of something being TOO stiff (a rare complaint...) it was Mini ‘Sports Plus’ suspension...

Still got my old Hendrix Badge blu-tacked to the dash!

    Completely agree, the standard suspension on R53/R56 is shocking IMO
