As a result of negative reviews north of the border, Mini reveals 'The Nicola'

I'd like those new Mini badges, give me an excuse to break out the detailing brushes again..... they're gathering dust just now, as is the bucket, and the shampoo....

That's exciting. I have to say that, from the pictures in that post, neither the new lights nor the new badge look as bad as I was expecting. The badge will still be a niggle for the detailing obsessed but I actually quite like that it lets a little bit more colour and design through.

I can never understand why a company changes its logo. Imagine the costs involved of changing all of the MINI logos on the dealers premises, flags, banners, letterheads etc. etc.

    Itís ridiculous in my opinion.
Thereís also the exorbitant prices that graphic designers charge as well.
If you have a well known brand logo just keep it as is.

Keeps folk in black polonecks and square spectacles in a job I suppose

Feet were made to fit car pedals. If we were meant to walk, we'd have pogo sticks for legs

When they announced a new badge I was expecting something spectacular. Then I saw it and it was the same badge that has been used for a year or 2 just now the cars have caught up

The new logo has been slowly introduced over the past 18-24 months. Not a fan of the rear lights though, in Ireland they are specable
