I have had our new clubman cooper S for one month. Last weekend our next door neighbor rang the door to ask if we knew that both the back doors were open.

This has now happened 3 times, back doors opening by themselves.

Has anyone else experienced this; we are absolutely positive that we have not pressed the button on the key fob.

We are sending the car back to the dealer to get checked out but thought I should ask here if this is a known issue/if there is a fix?

    Thank you in advance.

I would say your pressing the button on the fob by accident. Happened a few times with me

Same thing, now careful which pocket the keys go in. I would still go get it checked in case there is a problem but it probably is just the fob in pocket thing

    Thank you for your replies.

I will be extra careful with the key fob but going to send the car in to get checked anyway as condensation is building up inside the Headlights and that needs sorting.
