    Very tempted by this, but.....

.....with two littler ones to tag along we'll reserve commitment until we can see what the weather is doing.

I'll just be playing 'follow the leaders' as usual! Hard to read notes and look at the road when you're 'going solo'. Spare set would be handy though in case I get separated! Looking forward to a nice run and seeing William's new motor in the metal.

Ali, not happy. I might be doubtful for the run now... Been having a few brake issues recently due to a slightly warped front disc an some corrosion on all the discs, passed MOT in April with an advisory though. The HBT3 Tour seemed to help this as I think it literally wore the rough edges off, but I do need new discs and pads. However out last night and there was a much more pronounced rotational noise from the rear offside wheel (it usually lessens and practically disappears during a run, but not this time - it also seems more pronounced on sweeping left-handers when there's more load on the right side). Car's going to get checked tomorrow as I want to make sure I don't have a bearing issue. I'll keep you posted...

Ali, I should be ok for tomorrow. Confirmed noise caused by corrosion on rear disc rather than anything more serious. Booked in next Thursday to get all discs and pads done (also have a slight warp on one of the fronts I can feel through the wheel) along with a timely service schedule brake fluid change. So I won't be doing any 'Special Stage' antics - not that I ever do these days!

See you at Abington or if there's a wee convoy going from this neck of the woods...

You only need two tools in life WD40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should use WD40 and if it moves and shouldn't use Duct Tape.
