    Mmmmm

Does the gearknob come off and do you know if it takes the OE/Works knob?

Yes you can use the works knob on it and can also use an aftermarket 1 if wanted

I've always fancied one of these but I've never yet found anyone that can give me any feedback as to whether they are any good or not.
I did buy the last last ever red anodised knob made for them a few years ago, directly from Kellen the Sales Director at Cravenspeed, just in case I ever bought one.
This was the actual one that was used in the pics from the Cravenspeed ads for them.

I could be very very wrong but I have in my head that these only fit pre-facelift models

Feet were made to fit car pedals. If we were meant to walk, we'd have pogo sticks for legs

My car is an 04 made in July
Best way to check if it fits is to remove the gear gaitor ring and see if it has a white plastic piece that transfers the movement to or from the cables at the side is there if it's a metal piece it probably won't fit

Like this although it looks like a gen 2 but you get the idea

Just checked the cravenspeed site if the car is produced after 12/03 it will fit

^^ that could be it - there was definitely a change in the linkage at some point, meaning it doesn't fit all models
