Hello all, long time member here, I have had the same wee Blue and white Cooper for the last 14 years. 52 Reg.

Unfortunately my car was a total loss after a dozy council white van crashed in the side of it as I turned left into my driveway.

So I am now without a car temporarily, while I decide what to do with the settlement cheque which as you can imagine does not reflect the value of the car to me. It had done only 69K miles and was in very good condition, and was of good spec.

Anyway, I rescued a few bits and bobs before it was taken away. I have the 16" white 5 star alloys with nice Dunlop non RF tyres. ( I left my steel winter wheels on the car).

I have some clean mats and the little rubber tray for putting glasses and coins in. Instruction manuals, lots of mini memorabilia too.

    More details later.

That's not a great end to 14 years of ownership... hope you find something to replace it soon :)

    Thanks Craig.

Due to a bad back I don't think I will be getting another MINI unfortunately. I really enjoyed the car, it served me very well over the years and still got admiring comments from folk.

    Time to move on though.

    All the best,

    David.

David it's always a nightmare in these situations as the car is always worth more to you than a cheque. Fingers crossed that everything works out ...

You only need two tools in life WD40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should use WD40 and if it moves and shouldn't use Duct Tape.
