Unfortunately the time has come and after 3 great MINIs I am jumping ship. I would just like to thank everyone for all there help, advice and support over the past few years. I have a new Polo GTI currently being built so thats the next move. However, I am of no doubt that I will end up with another R53 - I just didnt have a connection with the F56 the same way as I did with my old JCW.

I now have a new job which means WEEKENDS OFF so Ill try to steal a lift with either stoney or elfman (if they allow me haha!) to ensure I can still come to some runs!

    Jamie

Sorry to hear that you're swapping brands but as they say "a change is as good as a rest". Enjoy your new motor and don't be a stranger.

Well Jamie sorry to hear that you're moving on.
Sometimes needs must and it's funny that you didn't connect with the F56 as most folk that didn't like it to start with now love it. Each to their own though.
Good luck with the GTi it's another good car and I'm sure it'll serve you well ...

You only need two tools in life WD40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should use WD40 and if it moves and shouldn't use Duct Tape.

Im sure I will see you around Crombers. I loved my R50. Im still convinced it handled better (when setup) than my R53.
