    Steering racks away on the wifes 03 r50 :( only had one quote so far guy said 5/600 incuding the part

    I understand its a crap job to do n takes bout 5hours and that the racks bout 150/200

    Do you lot think its a decent price and most other places will b bout the same lol

    Most garages I know of charge about £60 per hour for labour so it sounds about right to me.

    Symptoms are fluid leaking out both gators at the end of the trackrods :(
    Iv not had a good look about I was ready to go to the hut n torch the bloody thing. Wheres the pump on them?

    Pump is in front of the rack bolted to the subframe.

    Lol screw workin on it lol everytime I touch the car something breaks

    Phone John at Glasgow powersteering services, drive in drive out service and from experience a lot cheaper than most garages and that includes it all supplied fitted and tracked

    I ordered a rack off pentland was cheapest after surcharge etc got a guy fittin it tomorrow. ....touch wood this is last repair for a while lol
