    What does this actually do or achieve ?
    You only need two tools in life WD40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should use WD40 and if it moves and shouldn't use Duct Tape.

    butterfly spring goes weak on the std item not closing fully so losing boost 1320 modified ones are fitted with stronger springs and are setup to fully close as per 1320 tuning on their home page

    I'll check it out and see what it says ...
