Got all these parts spare so would prefer to sell as a complete kit rather than faffing around selling piece by piece. Useful upgrade for One & Cooper owners, especially if you have an earlier Midland [chocolate] gearbox equipped car.

As shown in the picture, included is: pre-facelift R53 Getrag gearbox, gearbox mounts, driveshafts, flywheel, clutch slave cylinder, gearshifter with cables.

Only extras needed are a clutch [clutch that came out looked ok but doesn’t really make sense fitting a used clutch!] and some gearbox oil.

    £400 collected, can arrange shipping

    A 6 speed box !! ......... I'd lose count

I dare say the Midland box has it's failings but thus far I've had no issues (75k / 12 years old) & have tended to treat it 'occasionally' with tlc

Same for me Crombers (although ours only has 32k / 13 years)
I only have issues with bloody reverse........sometimes it can be a right PITA

Yup reverse can be a tad elusive on occasion. I opt for the back into neutral, foot off the clutch then back on & try a forward gear or two. Once executed reverse is tried once more & usually found
