    I'm going mad, I remember having a tow hook in my possession but can't remember if it was my R53 or R56. can't find mine, any inconspicuous places it would be kept in an r53?!

    It's usually in the foam compartment that's tucked towards the rear of the battery ... in the boot ! :)

    You only need two tools in life WD40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should use WD40 and if it moves and shouldn't use Duct Tape.

    Where your hand is, just put it down between the battery and the bulkhead there should be a polystyrene holder with various tools in (Inc the toe hook)

    I have a jack but it sits in the boot and clips onto the little metal hooks in the boot

    Do you have your locking wheel nut? That's normally where it lives too... You might be able to get one of these sets from a scrappy
