I've just started my car for the first time in about 2 weeks. Stuck it into reverse and then the fault appeared. It's never happened before and doesn't happen everytime. Any ideas?

Is the engine management light on and then goes out ?
You only need two tools in life WD40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should use WD40 and if it moves and shouldn't use Duct Tape.

Nope. I'll record it later and post it up. Just checked the sensors and they all look fine and are all plugged in. The thing is I haven't actually touched the car in the past two weeks so I have no Idea what could be causing the problem. Its gone from working to intermittently working

My mate has an E60 BMW and had to replace a few of his sensors but to check which were working and which weren't he switched them on and listened for them clicking those that aren't are the dud ones

My mate did mention that to me this morning. Going to have a listen in the morning. Hopefully it is just sensors and nothing else.
