Dougall needs new shoes. Has anyone experience of the uniroyal all season expert tyres. They got a best for something in tyre reviews but wondering if anyone has tried them on their mini? I'm not doing a fraction of the mileage I used to so quite happy with a mid price tyre. Can't make up my mind between these two. Very happy with the rain experts I've had on since Oct 2012 (they do better than my so called winter tyres in the snow)

I've had the rain expert on since I came of the RF. Only had to use them in anger in the wet once due to a fiat 500 jumping on the brakes rightly to stop hitting a Morrisons lorry on the wrong side of the road round a blind bend over taking a VW that had broken down. Coming through glen Coe at sixty and so happy the tyres and car stopped so quick.

Mini as it was. As it is. As it always will be. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, it's up to you to decide if it counts!

I opted for the rain expert or was it sport 3. I like this brand of tyre. I remember last winter floundering a bit with the winter tyres in snow when week before the rain experts held the road well in similar conditions. Not that snow's an issue this winter! Or when it does finally arrive I will be enjoying the sun in Oz

I did originally go for the Rain Sports but they were out of stock everyplace and thought the Rain Expert was a good option. Slightly cheaper as well and I’m sure they had the same grip but just lower max speed rating.
