Ah that's that clarified Ian. My letter just says "Replace the electro-mechanical power steering wiring harness - MINI Countryman and Paceman with diesel engine" so wasn't sure aboot whether it was S or not.

Asked service reception when I was in today and they confirmed our JCW Countryman is not recalled.

The power steering wiring loom thingy. All Paceman and Countryman Diesels have to get the change. :)

I have to say that the service today was superb. I was provided with a car despite being told when I booked they had no cars.

Also they looked at a brake problem that I advised them of but they couldn't find it. As it's an intermittent fault they agreed to take the car in for a few days the next time it happens to investigate further. Can't ask for more. :)

I might now have found a dealer that lives up to my expectations when it comes to the service dept. . I already know they are my dealer for sales due to recent dealings :)
