Replacing outside windscreen pillar

    As above, got a broken one and one to replace, anyone done it and can explain how the proper method.

    I'm sure they just pull off. Some have been stolen previously....

    Yeah they do but it's likely that you'll need new clips and tape I think to replace them ..


    At 8000rpm no-one hears you scream !
    You only need two tools in life WD40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should use WD40 and if it moves and shouldn't use Duct Tape.

    The new ones come with adhesive applied if they are genuine from the dealer.
    To remove them its best to use a trim removing tool.

    windscreen pillar trims have 4 clips and 4 screws under the door seal dead easy but easy cracked also
    ill fit or help if your close ive got a spare set for a r56?

    Cheers bought one on fleabay from a breakers which came with a broken clip but fitted some good 3m tape and fitted well and survived a high speed blast-on a private road -and looks minted once I had run over it with my DA polisher. Cheers for the offer matey
