Anyone seen the next gen mini in the latest autocar? theres a 5 door pictured along with a 6 door clubman estate (estate with suicide doors and van style opening boot) and a new S. most noteable from the pics are that the S has a huge bulge in the boot in place of the air scoop. front grill looks a bitty different and theres indicators on the wing mirrors. more talk of a clip on roof for decals and details of new bmw/peugeot "prince" engines that are lighter than the current ones. variants available are 75 and 90bhp from a 1.4litre and 115 and 170bhp from the 1.6litre. it also says they want to drop the 5 speed from the one and cooper and replace it with a 6 speed. new 3 door due in sept 2006 with 5 door due in march 2007. new convertible in april 2008.
