NEWS FROM CASTLE COMBE MINIWORLD ACTION DAY – June 2012

    Just 100 days to go

To one of Castle Combe’s most popular and successful events, the MiniWorld Action Day on Saturday 29th September. And, it’s the 20th year as well, so cause for celebration, from what started as an idea from MiniWorld has now grown into a ‘must-do’ event for so many Mini owners and enthusiasts.

After, last year’s record event we are working even harder to make sure that the 20th anniversary is one that everyone can remember.

    Already planned are:

 The chance for one club to win a FREE track session worth almost £1,000. You just need to book your stand by 17th August 2012.

 A special display area for 20 members of the public to receive a FREE admission ticket with a special reserved parking area for any Mini that was first registered in 1992. So must have the original number plate with either a prefix letter of J or K. With those drivers invited to lead the GIANT LUNCH TIME MINI CRUISE. All you have to do is apply by not later than 31st July and we will draw 20 names out of the hat and you will be sent admission tickets, so if you have a Mini registered for the first time in 1992 just email a photo of your car showing its number plate to lucy@castlecombecircuit.co.uk

 All clubs who are accepted will be able to collect a Goodie Pack with a free limited edition Circuit sticker for 12 of their members

Plus, of course we will have all the usual ingredients that make the Castle Combe MiniWorld Action Day such a fabulous event.

    This includes:

FREE display space and up to 12 admission tickets for any Mini Club or web/forum based group who book in advance of the event and are accepted.

HEAVILY REDUCED COST TRACK TIME for Mini club members and individual owners booked before 31st August 2012.

HIGHLY COMPETITIVE TRADE SITE rates for traders to display their products and services to a huge number of Mini enthusiasts.

LARGE MINI AUTO JUMBLE area and a popular MINI CAR BOOT SALE area for those enthusiasts just clearing out the garage.

A DEDICATED ‘NEW MINI’ DISPLAY AREA with track sessions.

FREE TO ALL GIANT MINI CRIUSE at lunch time.

CHARITY RIDES from the Mighty Mini Racers with Louise Inch the 2010 Mighty Mini Champion already confirming her appearance. You pay £20.00, which is donated to charity to experience just how fast a Mini can lap the famous 1.85 mile circuit.

Long way to go... but this is always a great day! Used to be one of my favourite events for the classic, even did it a couple of times in a new Mini too! Ace track to have a scoot round as well!
