    After the R53 fell through, we found this 2004 R50 with one keeper and only 40k locally! Wife loves it, I just wish it was quicker!

    Nice John . A play mini exhaust and an induction kit will make it sound better and go a bit better

    I like really like Playmini exhausts, but I doubt I'd get away with putting something noisy on it :-(

    It's not noisy - it has "character"

    I'd echo what Craig says, the Play MINI on the R50 adds a subtle depth and rasp to the exhaust tone. The R53 "S" Play MINI was ASBO territory but the R50 is nothing like as noisy.

    Go for it, you'd love it.

    Thanks guys, the heat shield on the current system us a bit rusty, I could get away with saying it's the exhaust and will fail it's MOT next time if I don't change it!
