If its your first Mini I hope you love it!

Mini as it was. As it is. As it always will be. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, it's up to you to decide if it counts!

Hello and welcome :) Nice Mini :)

Remap wise, you could go to the mini specialist Lohen, who do the bluefin for about 250 ish, however they do a complete package that includes a pipercross panel filter and iridium spark plugs for around the £320 mark.

Or Angel Tuning too, they do a similar package for £300 but that doesn't include the spark plugs and uses an ITG filter :)

was just looking at the bluefin and the angel tunning and they are saying close to the 125-30 bhp is this right??? seems quite a big increase for a remap filter and even plugs

Yeah, if iirc, the mini one 1.6 lump is essentially the same as the cooper engine but with a different map. I'm sure one of the guys will confirm this. I'm looking to get one of the packages (probably Lohen's) over the next few months, so will be interesting to see what happens - based on reviews though, it seems that the car comes to life just after 3000rpm...
