Andy your like a grumpy old women ,you never know MINI might decide to add a new colour specifically for the roadster that would be to yours and Lenores taste. I have my ideas of colour for a roadster if I decide to go down that road...

I'm just at that age where I like stability. I never thought I'd hear myself type this but I don't like change!

"Change " is one thing you can be certain of.
Think I learnt that on my first management course; must have been awake after all

Although I won't be swapping my car for well over 18mths I can't stop myself looking. Been doing a bit of maths this evening to work out the cost of the Roadster on my company car scheme.

Comparing the Roadster S with the standard S both with Chilli pack and fuel for 18,000 miles a year the Roadster costs £55 more a month. The more interesting stat is that I could get the Roadster SD for £9 less a month than the hatch, now that may be a compromise worth having. I can see the discussion now, look dear by having the convertible I am saving a few pounds every month!

Still not sure I could live with just 2 seats and the height of the top of the windscreen is still a concern for me but will need to sit in one to see if it is a problem. However the hatchback SD works out a full £70 pm cheaper than the standard S so that could end up being the car of choice but a lot can change in 18 months!

I know its not on your list but you just know the Works Roadster is just going to sound great with the roof down popping and banging not to sure the SD will sound as good, but will look the part I’m sure.

Black Roadster JCW sports pack to me will just be the Dog’s nuts!
Mini as it was. As it is. As it always will be. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, it's up to you to decide if it counts!
