The Semi-automatic roof will be standard for UK cars. It will be a cost option for USA and parts of europe.

From Factory JCW to Audi TT Quattro - Might be back one day!

The USA don't get a ONE or a Diesel, or JCW seats, so, the UK does score well

Well ACTUALLY the US is getting the RECAROS as an available option for the first time and there are rumours that the government on that side of the pond is thinking of allowing the Diesels through as well, so it will just be the ONEs that you still wont have/get

AND... in the US you can buy a pukka Hot Rod or something like a classic Mustang for 'realistic' prices - So no sympathy here Alan!
ps if you spot a well-built Deuce Coupe running a tuned small block, give me a shout

This is certainly on my 'Bucket List"! From one of my FAVE films - 'American Grafitti' - John Milner's Deuce Coupe.

Wanted one since I saw the film many years ago, and if I could afford one, I have to admit it would be in my garage in place of the MINI...

Good to see the 'Younger Generation' is still Keeping The Faith William! Although for me, Cars, Music and Girls will NEVER go 'out of fashion'
The blurb for "American Graffiti" was "Where were You in '62?" - I was getting ready to be born...
The street racing scene at the end of the film (With Booker T and the MG's "Green Onions" soundtrack) between Milner's Deuce and Falfa's (a young Harrison Ford no less) mean black '55 Chevy where they take the cars out to 'Paradise Road' just as dawn is breaking, to finally settle 'who has the fastest car in the Valley' is, IMHO, one of THE iconic moments in cinema - it's the end of an Era, but they don't know it yet, or maybe they just don't want to accept it. The film's all about endings and beginnings and none of us stay 18 forever - that would be ridiculous, but you can still hang on to your dreams! www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXFMnfQVINM

Meanwhile - Back at the Roadster...

Was over at JC's yesterday and sat in the Roadster. Have to say I love it! A touch feminine but who cares, the thing looks awesome and in JCW or S spec, who wouldn't love to have the roof down and blast along a B road listening to that exhaust note.
