oil for cooper

    sorry folks this old question again! ive searched through old threads but findin the decision off which engine oil to use very confusing! Everyone says something different...arghh halfords say 5w 30 then the mobil website say 0w 40 and some others sayin 0w 30...? help also what makes best? castrol?

    Its for ALL petrol engined MINIs. Not sure about the D cars as never had a D.

    cheers man, what about spark plugs lol should i be changing them? 2006, 42k miles,doubt theyve ever been done..

    I would change them..... it wont do any harm and they aint expensive.

    Just dont cross thread the new plugs when putting in!

    My last mechanic did this and i popped a plug 400miles from home...

    Be carefull
