I was at the launch of the Countryman at my local dealer:-

I must admit, i was pleasantly surprised especially with the All4 wheel drive Cooper S in the colour that should have always been available, Brilliant White

I've always wanted that Brilliant white colour for a MINI and as far as I know they will never be bringing it over to the hatch etc I dont see why the he!! not...

Still not a huge fan of the looks of this behemouth but the interior and the drive are really nice though

The seats on the first one are different to UK spec. We get for full leather either punch or lounge. Thats like a hybrid of the two.

If I had to have one then it would be a cooper S all 4 in white all over.

The one above was $35k plus 7 per cent tax, so, say about $37,500, so, around the £24k mark.
But, it wasn't specced to the hilt, no nav or sun roof.
This is based on an exchange rate of 1.58.
Of course, you'll pay more in the UK anyway........

Great? Your eyesight must be even worse than mine

I think the interior of these is not as good as the hatch. The big plasticky bit in the doors is nasty for a start.
