    In my experience it was.. My tyres are now 30% more expensive at the moment (if) you can get them

    My winters were £75 you can only get them as a runflat now costing £183, the nearest similar size is £120 but this is the common 205/55 fitting and its not ideal on a MINI.

    So that's £480 compared to £300 for 16" tyres, ouch.

    hi /i am a bit late in replying computer playing funny b /////// .anyway bit the the bullet and bought new steel wheels /winter tyres from j.c.aberdeen /they have made a huge differance to driving in the snow /thanks to all on advice etc .and j.c. aberdeen .jim in the partsdept . cheers Dennis .
