    I struggle to take dark object shots, say black wheels on a bright day etc, so, good efforts all round

    It was Coniston (jetty posts and birds), Derwent (the boats etc.) and the others were Buttermere. It was warm at Coniston and Derwent on the Saturday and cold first thing on the Sunday.

    Really great pics there Paul. As others have said, I wouldn't appologise for any of them being all over the place as a few of them are simply top drawer!!!

    Just got round to looking at your photos Paul - absolutely superb .

    I took some of Derwent Water in the summer from the same beach but they don't look as good as your's .
