Since fitting my playmini exhaust my cat section has developed an annoying rattle. I have had a look under and there is nothing rubbing against it, heat shield etc. Short of welding a bracket onto the cat to reduce movement I am wondering how to fix the annoying problem.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

If it's not rubbing against anything and you've checked all clamps etc, then it sounds like the noise maybe coming from inside the Cat itself, as the Fins that are within the Cat can move through wear and tear and might eventually even block the exhaust fumes, resulting in a lack of power, have you noticed any lack of power when driving...

Usually when you get a rattly noise like this from your Cat they are on their way out, Is it quite a tinny rattle...

Hopefully others have come across this before and can advise you as well...

Hope it's not the Cat, as it won't be cheap to replace...

This one has me puzzled if it's more like a rumble coming from the Cat Section...
