    ooops what have I started!! sorrrreeee! only didn't want to upset a few footy supporters not a whole nation.I thought the UJ was celebrating the mini's "british" heritage that's all.
    I think some people are taking this a bit too seriously..there are no cars "made in scotland from girders" as yet so looks like you have no choice and the best you can do is buy "british" even if it's part german!! anyway what's the weather doing?? (quick change of subject!)

    I'm just back from Cyprus and saw a red Cooper S with the Union Jack roof, mirror covers and interior mirror. It looked lovely.

    My last mini was black and I had the silver union jack on the roof and the union jack side flashes. I loved the look - it was very original (at the time) and wish I still had it today!
