Fair play to the guy, that's unbelievable.

I'm quite lucky in that I've met some amazing people through work. Chris Moon was one, who lost an arm and leg in a land mine in Africa, but who went on to run ultra marathons. It's a mental attitude, both a determination and how you react and treat people, and one that transfers into everyday life. It really makes you appreciate what you have, and why we really should all be better/nicer/happier with people we don't know. It all goes to make the world a better place, and one of the reasons I left London.

Man, that's deep for a Wednesday morning ;-)

    Awesome.

It would have been so easy for him to have the polar opposite attitude to the one he has adopted.

What an amazing man what an amazing story, I think everyone of us should take a message from this guy on how we lead out lives. My hat goes off for him and I wonder seriously if any one of us could apply this attitude to life if we were in similar circumstances, in fact forget similar circumstances try it now.
Well found stoney great food for thought.

Reminds of that TV program about the young troops that had been blown up in Afghanistan, One of the young lads I’m sure was only just in his early 20’s had his arm and two legs blown off and he had come to the conclusion he could be mega depressed and negative or he could be thankful he was still alive to see his baby.

The nurses were amazed at his attitude and how he was handling it all.

Gives us all a reality check when we think we are having a bad day.
Mini as it was. As it is. As it always will be. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, it's up to you to decide if it counts!
