    Hi

I fitted front brake pads to my wifes Mini Coooper yesterday. The brake pedal still feels a bit spongy. How long/how many miles does it take for the brake pads to bed in?

    Thanks

Shouldn't take long to bed the pads in, a bit of right foot throttle and left foot applying the brakes helps, as Stoney mentioned, sounds more like air in the system, i'd get them bled to be on the safe side

Maybe bleed them a bit incase there's air in the hydraulics.

Thanks to everyone who replied. I've only done about 50 miles since they were changed. I go for another run today and if they are no better I'll bleed the system.
