Anyone bought second hand Tyres off garages online?

    Anyone bought second hand Tyres off garages online? Found a garage down south selling used 7MM tread 195/55H16 Goodyear Excellence RF. Asked if they had damaged repaired and waiting to see what they say. I know a lot on here play with there wheels and tyres.

    They are only looking for £80 the pair plus £10 delivery. They would have even put them on free and balanced if it had been local.

    I tried my digital gauge and both my rear are just over 5MM the front two are around 3.3MM. they are coming up to 15K on them. Reading some of the reviews some get 8K. It’s either try and get two like this or wait till later in the year and decide what I’m doing with the car and spend the £200 on two new front tyres. Dont fancy running lower tread in rain thats for sure if I keep it till next year.

    There really should be a Tyre Pit in here for all your wheel and Tyre questions and a few sponsors.

    Only ever bought second hand tyres when I was about 18 so never done it recently...


    If they are as they say, then they are a bargain.!!!
