what pin does my stereo have?

    flar or round pin?

    i have a 2003 cooper s with a disk changers if that helps.

    would need to know which head unit you have, is it CD or cassette?

    its the cassette one, looking to get somethin a bit more ipod friendly.

    i bought an Alpine 104BTI. Great head unit, come with ipod cable (which you can route into your glovebox), aux port on front and also usb port on front. Big bonus is that it comes with a Parroot Bluetooth handsfree kit built into it for your phone.

    bought online delivered to the house for £180. Bargain I think.

    You most likely have the round pins with a cassette unit

    If the cassette player is just the basic one then its round pin. If the player has the dolby noise reduction button then its the boost cassette player and would be flat pin.

    Like John said though most cassette players are the basic style.
