All the stuff I've seen on the Dext suggest it's a 35 quid a month contract though - for that money I'd be getting an iPhone?

Not designed for Chrome, sorry, but we'll be looking to do a dynamic HTML version next year which should work on all browsers.

Not sure, its not one I'm aware of but that doesn't rule it out as we sometimes get last minute additions. I've saw a pre-production one a few months back looked really good.
