When I open the boot hatch of my car it makes a noise like someone flicking a coiled spring or when you flick a plastic ruler on a desk and move it in the way!!!!!!. Its getting annoying now . Any ideas guys?

Bought a new latch from BMW, as said £23 +vat and they sent it out to me. 10 mins to fit. There is a moral tho ,"dont" be tempted to get 1 of evilbay 2nd hand, cheapest was £20 plus delivery right up to £55 all in . Do these people just think of a number and double it!!!!
