Mothership 5 - Friday 16th April 2010

Well guys, it will have been 2 years since we were last at the factory. A few things are bound to have changed and they may even be building some new models when we are there.

More firm details later, however it will most prob be around the same idea as the Last Trip

This is a MEGA road trip, including a SUPERB breakfast at Huntleys of Salmesbury and normally a BIG convoy of MINI's down the M6. The rest of the weekend is up to you, some travel back up the road on the Sat, others make it the start of a Holiday and others have a night elsewhere on the way home.. It's all possible

The hotel we use for the Friday night is Oxford Premier Inn


I may have to put a cap of 30 on this, however we have had the option before of a second tour on the Sat Morn, so we shall see how many want to go.

For those with 2 way radios (PMR 446 kind) we will be using channel 4/17 for the run. It's good fun for a bit of banter and also helps to keep us all together and we all know what is going on..

This falls on my last weekend at home, and being that I'm missing the highland tour then I would love to go on this. Always fancied a look around the factory. Craig will the accomodation be the same as 2 years ago (ie Premier Travel Inn at Oxford Business Park at the Cowley Junction)

Obviously I'll let you know if there are any changes in my shift plan.

ps. Kim will be joining me too. (that's if we are not divorced. (ie.Any more mods to car= divorce))

Just today I said to Kim I fancied getting the alloys powder coated a different colour, she said " sounds like a good idea, do think you'll have any money left to pay for the divorce".
