I've asked the dealer to not polish/wax the car when they deliver it.

Has anyone any advice on what I should do when I first get it?

Should I wash it with a Fairly Liquid solution, then use a paint cleaner followed by polish/sealant then wax? I have P21S cleanser, Klasse AIO and Collinite wax.

Is there any product that you really recommend for setting up a good finish with decent lasting protection?

    Thanks

Get a grit guard and wool mit………keep your mini as swirl free as you can…please don’t put washing up liquid on, I would imagine P21S cleanser would remove any wax on it…I have Meg's hyperwash that does the trick but also I foam the Mini twice and rinse befre i even get close to it.

Just dont get any polish on the black trim example being around the roof etc bugger to get off…….still have to attack my cooper.

Mini as it was. As it is. As it always will be. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, it's up to you to decide if it counts!

It's coming into summer, you'll not need to wash it
